Goochland County Republican Committee Resolution Endorsing
Winsome Earle-Sears, John Reid, Jason Miyares,
Thomas Garrett and David Owen
Passed unanimously by the GCRC May 21, 2025
Whereas the Goochland County Republican Committee (hereafter GCRC)
is committed to supporting principles and practices that promote free, fair,
and transparent elections in the County of Goochland, the Commonwealth
of Virginia, and the United States of America;
Whereas all nominees named above are qualified for the offices they seek
and have completed all requirements to qualify for said offices;
Whereas the time to qualify for a primary election has expired;
Whereas no qualified challengers exist for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney
General, the 56th House of Delegates, and the 57th House of Delegates for
the Republican Party in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2025;
Whereas all nominees named herein are the official nominees for the
November 2025 General Election for their prospective contests;
Now therefore, be it resolved that the GCRC endorses recognizes and
supports Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor, John Reid for Lt. Governor,
Jason Miyares for Attorney General, Thomas Garrett for House of
Delegates District 56, and David Owen for House of Delegates District 57
in the November 4, 2025 General Election as our nominees of choice.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the GCRC shall cause copies
of this resolution to be published by Public Notice and to be disseminated to
all Republican members of the Goochland County Republican Committee
