It was pointed out at the beginning of a recent Units Chair meeting, that the title of this article is the main focus of the republican party. We don’t make policy and we don’t “punish” elected representatives. The point was that republicans’ as a party need to avoid “mission creep”. Stay on point, and work to get republicans elected and be part of a unified team that continues to win in Virginia.

One of the approaches that Governor Youngkin has championed is:

I guess he wouldn’t have to say it if it wasn’t needed. Our self destructive nomination process to unifying general election. You know, it’s kind of crazy cycle.
